IPG Ranked Most Fundable Company by Pepperdine Graziadio Business School
October 18, 2019, LOS ANGELES -- IPG is thrilled to announce that it achieved a No. 15 rank on the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School’s second annual Most Fundable Companies List. IPG competed against thousands of early-stage U.S. companies with less than $10 million in annual revenue to be named one of the most fundable companies. The Most Fundable Companies initiative is designed to bridge the gap between startups and the capital they need to succeed.
“IPG has a goal of helping to secure the industrial internet of things. The Most Fundable Companies initiative provided us with a data-driven analysis that has enhanced our company strategy and has already been incorporated into our fundraising activities,” said Steve Kiss, IPG’s CEO. “We are a small business with goals that often exceed our budgets. We are excited that Pepperdine Graziadio Business School is recognizing entrepreneurs from across the country, providing resources to assist startups in realizing their market potential and in securing private investment to accelerate growth.”
“IPG has developed novel technology that helps government and business ‘Find, Assess and Fix’ security vulnerabilities in industrial IoT networks.” commented Chad Zerangue, IPG’s Chief Revenue Officer. IPG’s flagship product is called GearBox. “Projections estimate that there will be over 50 Billion “Smart” or “Connected” industrial assets turned live by the year 2025. With GearBox, IPG offers the first standardized and easy to use tool to ensure that these assets are deployed in a secure and predictable manner.”
As a winner on the Most Fundable Companies List, IPG will be profiled on Entrepreneur.com and will be featured in the December print issue of the magazine.
The Most Fundable Companies initiative involved a multi-phase assessment that evaluated several company variables including financial projections, market opportunity, intellectual property and the strength of the management team, all of which were used to produce a fundability score. The Pepperdine Most Fundable and Highly Promising companies were evaluated and selected in partnership with The Venture Alliance (TVA) based on their readiness for private investment.
